Every month and year, the FCE Group becomes a more influential company. By turning its plans into action, the project made 2021 was a landmark year.
This report describes project results achieved over the last year, an overview of the main activities, updates, and the company's plans for next year.
In early 2021, the project participated in
national initiatives and competitions sponsored by Venture Lab and its partners. The organizers gathered to participate
in promising Swiss projects that will shape the future of business and the world. Their participation helped the project gain additional information support and recognition.
However, international cooperation allowed the project to reach its full potential.
A central event for FCE in 2021 was its global international cooperation and launch of a pilot project. In October, NGO Synergos Nigeria and FCE Group AG announced
a strategic partnership to improve agricultural outcomes in Kaduna State in northwestern Nigeria. FCE Group AG will provide digital blockchain-based traceability and reporting technology for 450,000 farmers.
The participants will receive digital tools and access to a cloud-based platform, digital identity, supply chain traceability, and a payment system with traditional and alternative payment methods. Open access to market information, value chain traceability, and transparent financing will improve the accountability, manageability, planning, and productivity of every connected farm and the Kaduna agricultural sector as a whole.
The project will lead to significant structural change, agricultural transformation in the region, food security enhancement, and improved livelihoods.
The team is working to get the first farmers settled on the platform and improving blockchain solutions to bring them up to security requirements for a pilot project with the government.
The team is also working with lawyers to create solutions to develop an internal exchange.
