The project team has done a great job over the last five months, and now is the time to tell you about it. At that period, it turned out to be a test for many companies, but we continue to work and do not reduce our activity and efficiency.
In January 2020, we carried out a
complete rebranding and changed the name from FOODCOIN ECOSYSTEM to FCE Platform. We widened the focus of our work and had to show it.
In the work process, we realized that agriculture, farming, and the food industry are only a few industries in our work sphere. Since rebranding, we are expanding our capabilities for other industries with supply and value chain, such as Cosmetics, Chemicals, MedTech, Logistics, Luxury, and Pharma, etc. Our tools are suitable for wider use and we believe that technologies are vitally necessary for most companies.
Also, we noticed that the word "coin" in the name of the company negatively affects communication with customers, so we had to correct it.
Moreover, now we do not stop only at software development and engineering, but also offer consulting in the field of new technologies. As experts, we are guides of new technologies and provide accurate and assured technical support and consulting.
Tech Update: Internet of Things, FCE Platform and Sensors
The development of our Blockchain is complete. We plan to launch and swap FOOD tokens to coins when we launch a real industrial case with our products. We will notify all our holders to exchange their tokens for coins with the help of our WALLOK smart wallet.
During the last months, FCE tech team has developed several unique solutions for WALLOK that allow users to restore access to their wallets with significant amounts left. This is an unusual thing for the blockchain sphere, but the necessary and convenient solution that will save our users’ resources. We have also improved the security and usability of WALLOK and updated the design of this software.
The most significant and innovative part of the work was the development of the special automatic tracking system with IoT sensors. Now, we develop not only software but also physical devices. FCE tech team designed and
released the prototypes of the smart devices and developed all the sides of FCE Platform in a short time. Recently, we released:
• the prototypes of the IoT devices,
• the software for sensors and blockchain-backed cloud database connection,
• the interface for interaction with IoT sensors.
FCE IoT sensors are complex devices with an Internet connection, and a set of environmental sensors (temperature, CO2, humidity, etc.), and GPS tracker.
FCE Platform guarantees full trusted transparency throughout the supply chain, even if it is composite or international.
The company that implements the Platform receives a package of IoT sensors and RFID tags. FCE IoT sensors are located at main points of the supply chain: manufacturing, shipping containers, warehouses, stores, etc. The manufacturer labels the product packages with RFID tags. Now IoT sensors control and collect all the data on the condition and movement of the tagged products. Any change in the route, non-compliance with the conditions, or removal from the container is monitored. The data is stored securely in the blockchain-backed database.
The system is flexible and adjustable. We discuss options with company representatives and select the number and characteristics of the sensors individually. The software part can also be customized and integrated into another website through API.
FCE Platform is a guarantee of product quality, origin, and safety. Total transparency and automation of internal processes bring trust and strong protection for the brand reputation. We are preparing the Platform and sensor prototypes for the full real-case testing.
To make our partners and communities better understand how FCE Platform works,
we have launched a series of videos. There we show the principles and benefits of the system, as well as how it will change the existing business models.
FCE Initiative, Participants and Events
FCE CEO, Gregory Arzumanian,
took part in the events organized to search for economic and technical solutions. He shared his findings at "Blockchains for the European Green Deal and SDGs" event by EPE in early 2020 and plans to continue attending conferences when their schedule resumes after the pandemic.
Last month, we launched
FCE Initiative to open the way to digitization for companies of all sizes and locations. Several companies from different countries and continents have already joined us, and we continue to grow the encouraged community.

Beljan+Feucht Architekten, an architectural company from Meggen, Switzerland. The team combines thoughtful planning and modern systems, using environmental-friendly materials.
In a short time, Dutch company
Airins Care became a FCE partner and part of the Initiative. The company develops and implements innovative, natural solutions with computer-controlled air conditioning systems for disinfection and pest control in healthcare, industrial, and institutional markets. Recently, a Nigerian company
TBO Consulting Group has also joined FCE Initiative. TBO develops specific, practical, and feasible solutions that guide their clients' businesses in the right direction. We spoke to Temitope Oyeleye, CEO of the company, and learned
his opinion about technologies and development paths for companies.
Thanks to the large-scale and active exchange of experience, the digitization of businesses will become simpler and smoother. FCE has developed a set of comprehensive tools to make companies trustable, transparent, and understandable and make them part of the Internet of Trustworthy Data (IoTD). Digitization is our future, and we must make it ubiquitous.
