FOODCOIN Team is presenting a report on the accomplishments of January and February 2019.
Over the last period, the following events were carried out by FOODCOIN Team.
- FOODCOIN Team took part in
Humanitarian Hackathon in Brussels, Belgium. The event took place 15-16 January at Egmont Palace, and covered numerous topics, like ensuring transparency in school feeding, empowering smallholder farmers, and other spheres, which require cutting-edge technologies to address modern challenges.
- Food business owners and associations are actively implementing FOODCOIN Blockchain in their businesses. One of them is ALDIM GmbH. As a part of their
promotion campaign, they are selling their products in 6-pack Promo-boxes. All the information about the ingredients, sale and delivery are trackable and stored in Blockchain. It is accessible by scanning the QR-codes printed on the product jars.
- Test version of DIGID system
is launched. DIGID is a registry system that contains all the information that the User should add about himself. The information must be verified by a verifier to avoid its alteration or forgery. This data will be added to blockchain and stored as hashes to be compliant with the GDPR Directive.
- The CEO of FOODCOIN ECOSYSTEM
Gregory Arzumanian took part in
Swiss Arab Nights, an elite charity event, which took place in January 23 in Davos, Switzerland. This event is aimed to promote partnerships, deepen economic relations, and intensify cultural exchange between Switzerland and the Muslim world during the World Economic Forum, which will take place this year.
- Another event visited by FOODCOIN ECOSYSTEM is
Gateway to China which happened in January 25 in Bern, Switzerland. FOODCOIN had already held preliminary meetings with a number of participants and obtained some interesting and promising contacts. The objective of this event is to support Swiss business development in China and how to prepare a business for China.
- The Tech Team of FOODCOIN
published a manual for verification in WALLOK. Verified accounts are essential tools for the interaction within FOODCOIN ECOSYSTEM. It is also necessary to identify users who do not have passports and ID cards and will be used for automatic registration on third-party sites using FOODCOIN API
- FOOD token
was listed on a decentralized exchange Bitcratic. The registration on Bitcratic is easy: to use this exchange, you have to login on Metamask. Most operations are carried out through blockchain, allowing traders to maintain tokens in their own.
- FOODCOIN is
promoted on boarding passes of Swiss Airlines.
